With digital cameras I take the approach of shooting many shots, and then (usually) sorting out the good from the bad at a later point. With these slides, where there was no immediate feedback, I wonder what was noteworthy enough to merit the attention. The name on the mailbox reads George H. Swarts (or Swartz). Maybe they knew each other. Maybe it was his mailbox?

When I first held this slide up the the light, I thought the kids were using an one of the original Mac computers, but that is just my bias. It is interesting that this use multimedia-based eduction from 43 years ago is very similar to something we would see in a classroom in 2014.
