This group of kids from the 70's look excited to be in school. This slide is from an extensive set of school pictures from November 1971. Perhaps the photographer worked in education. Maybe working on an advanced degree in eduction.

Biplane in Flight

I believe this is a Sopwith Camel. The photo is from October, 1975 - one of the eclectic slides from Lot 1.

Family Gathering

Another 50's era slide from Lot 4. This one showing what looks like a family gathering. No specific date stamp on this slide, but it was mounted in a slide frame identical to others (probably from the same roll of film) that had handwritten 50's dates. Also, the woman on the left, in the light blue dress will feature heavily in slides from Lot 4. We will see her in many different places around the world.

Ray's Pool

One of the older slides from Lot 4. This one has the handwritten label "Ray's Pool - 1950".

Locomotive 8444 Emerging From Tunnel

Published: 2014-12-26 05:24:00

Locomotive 8444 was the last steam engine purchased by the Union Pacific Railroad. In this picture from March 1964, it looks like it is on a promotional tour.
